Recycling and Trash Service

Trash Service in Bentonville is included with your utility bill and is provided by Republic Services. Following are Kensington Subdivision requirements and scheduling.

  • Trash cans should be stored out of view from the street, except on collection days.

  • Trash cans should not be left on the street for more than 24 hours. If unable to retrieve your trash can/s in a timely manner, please ask a neighbor for help.

  • Trash is picked up on Wednesdays unless the schedule is affected by weather or a holiday.

Personal Property Tax

Personal Property Taxes in Bentonville, Arkansas are calculated based on a percentage of your property’s assessed value. New resident may be unfamiliar with this tax. It is important to understand that personal property (vehicles, trailers, boats) is taxed annually and assessments must be filed between January 1 and May 31 each year with the County Assessor’s Office. This tax is determined by Benton County and provides funds to services within the County.
